As of July 2008, test registration is accomplished online at the Berkeley Plaza class site and also at the Jill S. Weekley class site.

Actual testing is conducted at the Pikeview location for Berkeley County Adult and Community location and also at James Rumsey Technical Institute.

Why are people using the Adult Basic Education Center?

  • To expand their basic education (reading, writing, mathematics.
  • To obtain General Education Development (GED) Certificate.
  • To prepare for ACT, SAT, or Accuplacer testing prior to entering a community college or four-year college.
