Prospective Students: Getting Started
Degree Seeking Student
Students admitted to Blue Ridge CTC as a Degree Seeking Student MUST fill out the two page Blue Ridge Community and Technical College application and pay a $25 application fee. Students should fill out this application if they meet the following criteria:
- Student wants to receive a degree.
- Student needs Financial Aid.
- Student wants to continue school without interruptions.
To enroll as degree seeking, the students needs to fill out the Blue Ridge CTC Application, follow directions on the form, and pay a $25 enrollment fee. Mail the application and all required material back to Blue Ridge Community and Technical College, ATTN: Admissions, 400 West Stephen Street, Martinsburg, WV 25401.
Application Does Not Guarantee Admission to Every Class.
The application needs to be completely filled in, pay a $25 application fee (all checks made payable to Blue Ridge CTC), submit official high school or previous college transcripts, and submit test scores. Please be send to:

How do I know what to submit?
Here are some quick guidelines to determine what you need to request be sent to the school.
- If you have never attended an accredited college or university:
SUBMIT – Official transcripts from your high school (it does not matter how many years you have been out of school, they are still required). - If you have previous college or university credits, but have been out of high school for less than five years:
SUBMIT – Official transcripts from your high school and official transcripts from previous colleges or universities attended. - If you have previous college or university credits, but have less than 15 earned hours:
SUBMIT – Official transcripts from your high school and official transcripts from previous colleges or universities attended. - If you have over 15 earned hours of previous college or university coursework and have been out of high school longer than five years:
SUBMIT – Official transcripts from previous colleges or universities attended.
Non-Degree Seeking Student
Students admitted to the Blue Ridge CTC as non-degree seeking students can fill out the non-degree seeking student enrollment form for admission on the following basis:
- Student does not want to receive a degree.
- Student does not need Financial Aid.
- Student only wants to take one or two classes.
To enroll as a non-degree seeking student, the student needs to fill out the one-page application form and return the form with payment to Blue Ridge Community and Technical College at 400 West Stephen Street, Martinsburg, WV 25401.
Application Does Not Guarantee Admission to Every Class.
Fill out all sections completely, including course information at the bottom of the page and the semester taking classes at the top of the page. Be sure to sign and date the bottom of the form. Checks are to be made payable to Blue Ridge CTC. All required materials are to be sent to:

(Note: For placement in English, Mathematics, or Reading courses, placement testing must be completed prior to registration or scores must be presented).
