Prospective Students: Placement Tests

The Accuplacer is a computerized placement test for anyone who has been referred to the Resource Center’s Student Academic Support Services for placement testing.

This is an untimed test. There is no “pass/fail.” Test scores are needed in order to place you in appropriate-level math or writing courses. Included are tests for Reading; Arithmetic; Basic Algebra; and Sentence Skills. Your scores are available immediately following completion of the test. Anna Mary Walsh, Collaborative Programs and General Studies, will explain the scoring and which courses are available to you.

After your consultation, the results will be sent to the Admissions Office and staff will continue processing your application.

The sooner you contact our office to set up a test date, the sooner the Admissions Office can continue the process of your application for admission.
